Shout out to DJ Dub doing his thing consistiently on the mixtapes. I can't sleep on Kanye for too long right? I mean dude is doing his thing right now with the Graduation album and I think as a whole more cats releate to Kanye then they do 50 Cent at this point...fashion aside. One thing tho, you would not catch me ever wearing those white Dire Straits style sunglasses. Don't know who Dire Straits is? Google that bitch then watch the money for nothing video.

"Don't Forget 'Em" remix is dope, I fucks with it like that. I'd like to hear some MCs go in on that beat with a proper mixtape flip too. "It's Alright" with Mase was a hard listen for me...Dub was cutting shit up lovely tho. I also don't hear the appeal of "Good Life" with T-Pain. Maybe shit just sounds too lovely for me, I don't know but it doesn't move me and my head is not nodding. "Barry Bonds" got that head nod, Lil Wayne doing what he do on a feature as usual. "Running Around" is a sleeper joint with Roscoe P Goldchain; tell me that piano in the beat doesn't get you open. The best track besides the joint with Consequence is "Back To The Basics" with Common. These two where straight rhyming on some grown man shit...which is rare for grown MCs in 2007. I can honestly say the best thing about the "Buy You A Drink" remix was Kanye's verse...thank song is annoying as hell.

I give Dub credit cause he was mixing, letting the skills breathe throughout the whole mixtape. The problem I had was with that drop..."extra classes...echo...echo..." Man 15 minutes in and that shit had me worn down like my clock radio alarm going off at 7 am every morning...the problem being was I couldn't shut it off! The drop overpowered the mix on damn near every track and that def fucked up the over all sound of the project for me as well as the review rating. (9/18/07)
