Damn it's been a minute since we reviewed a DJ Snake Eyes mixtape. Snake Eyes has been a "mullet" supporting since we started, we appreciate that man. Considering his first review wasn't the best it's good to see the progression he's made over the years with the mixtapes and he's still around on Rapmullet building and hustling.

I don't know if Sound Chamba is his artist but dude is decent on "The Predator Intro". The movie clips played seamlessly throughout were the shit too. Young Buck is no longer G Unit, time to let your balls hang homie. (pause) I think Buck will be ok but we shall see. "Kill Me a N*gga" is aight, classic ignorant music at it's finest. It was good to hear that Phene freestyle from the first Rapmullet drop a dime section, more DJs needed to support those tracks...classic mixtape music. I can't say I bump Baby D on the regular but "Girls Gone Wild" was type catchy...I can see mad hoes breaking wild to this shit tho. Serius Jones continues to impress with the bars. "That Real Shit" has a tired ass hook but dude can flat out rhyme. Is that Rod Da Blizz? Yes it is and a freestyle no less. "Like white people in the sun / its time for you suckas to peal." Hahaha and he called your favorite rapper a "fudge packer"...classic. Snake Eyes got the incomparable Brick Saavy on here too...god shit. Brick is the epitome of a versatile MC...Freestyle, written track....on any type of beat. MCs don't have that no more but he does.

Snake Eyes is strictly pause and play on here but he's doing his part in playing good music and trying to break MCs. I like Snake Eyes for the fact he's an accomplished entrepreneur more than a DJ, he knows the importance of locking down his area too. Plus he stepped it up 17 fold with the cover work...which was a problem back in the day. Lol (5/29/08)
