Shout to DJ Sean Mac out there in Chicago, it's been a minute since I heard..."It's MAC Bitch!!" That's a classic drop. Rick Ross is hosting and if you don't have his latest album go get it...shit surprised the hell out of me and I really don't like shit. Props to Sean Mac for getting to Vol. 10 of the series too, cats know about consistency but don't know the value of a "consistent mixtape series". For most DJs it's what get's them to another level.

"Luxury Tax" is smooth...I can't front and I thought Wayne did his thing too. Trick Daddy was shinning like a mutha fucka tho. That "Paper Touchin" remix is cool. Me personally I think the "colabo" is getting played out. Time for MCs to hold themselves down without the colabo crutch. I can't stand "Rider Pt.2"...50 Cent following trends. I remember when he used to set them now he follows...sigh. The smoothest track out right now is "Maybach Music". It has that "Can't Knock The Hustle" appeal to it, not to mention Jay Z painting and ill picture. I'm fucking with Rich Boy, John Legend, Wayne and Nas on "Ghetto". It's funny to me how Wayne can spit a bloody tampon on a track like "American Superstar" then come back with a jewel on this remix. I guess his features are really better than his solo tracks. Is it irony that Jay Z rhymes about HGH and "The Clear" on a track that features Mary J. Blige? It is to me I know that. "Money Make Me Come" is trash to me. Not Rick Ross' best material, shit sounds mad generic on some cookie cutter shit. Twista on "Umma Do Me" is classic tho; talk about shifting gears with your flow...damn. Where's Bump J been at? "Chevy Fresh Out" is cool but he needs better beats. Amilcar beat the shit outta "Throw Ya Sets Up"...I can dig it. This that concrete music. As far as the cats go near the end of the mixtape, Sincere The Great did his thing. "Street Saint" got a lil knock to it and he was actually saying some shit; hook was infectious too.

It's like this. To me, the mixtape is average for the simple fact I've heard most of the tracks up on here and there's no mixing going on. I still like Sean Mac's mic game tho, he's got an ill presence on his projects that's undeniable. If you haven't heard the music up on here then the joint is cop-able, no question. The "exclusive" game has leveled off with the internet but there's still lanes open mixtape wise and of course there's still people who don't hear all the shit on the net too. (4/04/08)
