Do cats remember that movie Boomerang? Grace Jones played that crazy bitch with new perfume, they wanted to call that shit "After Birth" or "Steel Vagina". That's what 2 Mello's next title should be..."Undercover R&B The Afterbirth". Although Steel Vagina has a certain ring to it. Seriously a female DJ could pull that off...think I'm lying. I'm not a huge fan of new R&B..not gonna lie to you and I give 2 Mello props for not having any Pretty Ricky on here. Can't stand them man. New jack R&B cats who need to get slapped.

Whoa, hold up. That DJ Sean Intro is four minutes and change and is def a new type of intro. I like how he flipped it; set the mood of the CD that's for sure. I don't usually mess with the typical R&B with the hip hop verse ect ect but "Buddy" by Musiq Soulchild with Red Cafe was cool as a fan. I was actually rocking to this in my ride. Suprisingly "Favorite One" by Styles P fit perfectly in the mix; 2 Mello on the skills was proper too. Considering I'm not one for new R&B let alone "unsigned" R&B but Shaleik Rivers on "Be There For U" was on to something till that hook dropped; real smooth track. No offense to the B-More heat but Sisqo isn't cutting it anymore man. He's career is def dead in the middle of little Italy. "Who's Your Daddy"??? Come on man even the title is wack. The sleeper track is most def "Still" with A.P. on the verse and Megan Rochelle doing what she do. Is that Yo Yo rapping on "My Life"? Hell no! She still got it tho...can't front her. She must be 40 plus now.

I gotta be honest. 2 Mello mixing was real smooth and that's pretty much what held my attention throughout. A lot of the tracks were hit or miss to me but there's somthing about actual mixing that just keeps you listening. I'm def gonna keep the CD in the ride for the rest of the week and any R&B head would be wise to cop as well.
