Welcome DJ Jules to the Rapmullet.com. The R&B CDs are few and far between now a days. Everyone wants to be an exclusive DJ, shit is past comical proportions now. R&B blends is a lost art if you ask me so this CD is welcome addition to my mixtape rotation. Ladies where ya'll at this looks like some shit you need in your ride right now.

That TI joint in the Mary blend of "Enough Crying" was straight. I didn't like that second beat on the blend tho, shit was too bland. Shit really popp'd off with the "Me, Myself, and I" blend. That's highway music right there. See I wish more DJs would got back and flip some old R&B joints like "You're The One". I haven't heard that old Usher joint in a minute. Same with "Steelo" by 702. Yea that's right I said 702! Haven't heard that name in a minute too. I like how he fit "Freakin' You" in the mix and then coming back with Total and Biggie on "Can't You See". If you never heard the first Total album go get that shit. Although the accapella for Aaliyahs "Rock the Boat" sounded a little rough this was my favorite blend of the CD. The sleeper blend/track was Joe and Papoose on "Where Ya At".

Jules getting his mix on people; track to track back to back couple blends in between. The formula is tight. I might be a little hard on Rapmullet newbies but with out a doubt the CD is cop-able. The mix is smooth, def capturing the ladies with this one. Now we got the first CD outta the way we can see how Jules progresses to the next volume. That's where you can tell if a mixtape DJ on some R&B blends will sink or swim. (9/30/06)
